What is the difference between homework tests and practice tests?

During your course, you will be required to complete homework assignments and practice tests (amongst other things!).

Homework tests are official SAT/ACTs that are broken down into four or five sections and doled out section by section. There will be a section or multiple sections of homework tests due prior to each class. Just like homework in school, these assignments can be completed slowly, diligently, and open book/note.

Practice tests are also official SAT/ACTs. However, when they become due in your course, you will complete all sections of the test in strictly timed, realistic conditions. Simulating the official testing environment will benefit your student greatly on the official test date. Practice tests will not only help students learn how to apply the strategies to the problems but also help them work on their time management skills and stamina.
