How Do Live Classes Work?

During live classes, students can see their instructor and a digital whiteboard. Student cameras and microphones are disabled because lessons are recorded, but students can ask questions and interact with the instructor and classmates through the Zoom chat feature.

All live lessons are recorded and uploaded to the Student Dashboard for students who miss a class or want to review the material.

Types of Live Courses

• 6-Week Flagship SAT/ACT Courses: Students attend two live, 3-hour classes per week for 6 weeks. Homework assignments and practice exams are completed between classes.
• 8-Week Capstone SAT/ACT Courses: Students attend two live, 3-hour classes per week. These courses include advanced strategies, additional preparation, and a Weekend Review.
• 4-Week PSAT Course: Students attend two live, 3-hour classes per week for 4 weeks, focusing on PSAT strategies, practice questions, and test preparation.
• 7-Week Founder SAT Course: Students attend two live, 3-hour classes per week taught directly by Prep Expert founder Dr. Shaan Patel.
• Weekend Review Courses: Intensive SAT/ACT review courses consisting of 6 hours of instruction on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday, typically divided into two 3-hour sessions each day.

Self-Paced Video Courses

Self-paced courses feature prerecorded video lessons that students can watch at their convenience. There are no scheduled live classes, so students can complete lessons, homework, and practice tests at their own pace.

Unlimited Prep and All Access Pass

These programs provide access to multiple Prep Expert courses rather than a single class. Depending on the package, students can enroll in eligible live courses and access additional study resources through their Student Dashboard.
