Students enrolled in an SAT or ACT course will complete full-length practice tests throughout the course. Practice tests are accessed directly from the Student Dashboard.
How to Start a Practice Test
- Log in to the Prep Expert Student Dashboard.
- From the menu on the left side of the dashboard, select your current SAT or ACT course.
- Select Practice Tests.
- Review the banner at the top of the Practice Tests page. If you are prompted for an email when accessing a practice test, use the email address shown in this banner.
- Locate the practice test assigned for that week.
- Select Start Test.
- The practice test will open in a new browser tab.
- If prompted to enter an email address, use the same email address displayed in the banner on your Prep Expert dashboard.
- Complete each section of the practice test and follow the on-screen instructions for breaks.
Complete the practice test within 6 hours of starting it to help prevent technical errors.
Repeat these steps for each practice test assigned during your course.
After selecting Start Test for an ACT practice exam, you will be given the option to choose between Online/Digital Assessment or Offline/Paper Assessment.
Select the testing format you prefer and follow the instructions provided.
After You Submit Your Practice Test
Once your practice test has been successfully submitted, return to the Practice Tests page on your Prep Expert dashboard.
The completed test will display the following options:
- Review Test: View your score and review your completed practice test.
- Retake Test: Complete the practice test again.
If you are prompted for an email when starting or reviewing a practice test, always use the email address displayed in the banner at the top of the Practice Tests page.
Using a different email address may prevent you from accessing your previously submitted practice tests.
